In an extraordinary session on December 19, 2024, the Merano City Council adopted two documents on sustainable mobility: the Urban Sustainable Mobility Plan and the General Urban Traffic Plan. These are two closely coordinated planning tools aimed at making Merano’s mobility sustainable for the future and improving the quality of life for the population.
The documents have now been published on the municipality’s digital notice board, where citizens can view them and submit comments by February 17, 2025. The executive will then review these comments and decide whether and to what extent to integrate them into the two Plans. The new version of the two documents will then be submitted for review and final approval by the City Council.
