Specializing in transport modeling, planning, and mobility, we welcome interns from the faculties of Transport Engineering, Architecture, and Planning, integrating them into the team that best aligns with their potential.
But how does the transition from textbooks to practice actually translate into reality? Luca, a student of Urban, Territorial, and Landscape Planning who recently completed his internship in our offices, shared his experience. Having arrived with the goal of specializing exclusively in landscape design, direct contact with the variety of our work opened new horizons for him.
“Initially, I wanted to pursue a Master’s in landscape architecture, but through my time at the firm, I am re-evaluating this idea and considering continuing on this career path.”
This shift in perspective demonstrates how an internship is a crucial moment not only for learning but for defining one’s professional identity.
Before starting, Luca’s goal was to bridge the gap between academic case studies and operational reality. At TPS, Luca was able to observe firsthand the complexity governing the relationship between private consultancy and public entities, learning to adopt a systemic vision: the focus is not on a single task, but on a holistic view of multiple aspects simultaneously.
