The logo for the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of the Municipality of Ascoli Piceno embodies three key concepts:
- People. Citizen participation is the only way to ensure the implementation of decisions made in concert.
- Quality. This refers to quality of life, urban quality, pleasantness, and the beauty of a more livable city.
- Sharing. This represents a mobility for everyone, one that connects people, is shared, and welcomes and brings the community together.
The logo itself was designed using the symbolism of the circle and the arch—a typical and recurring architectural element in Ascoli’s cityscape.
Accompanied by the slogan “For shared mobility,” the Ascoli Piceno SUMP aims to bring people back to the center of the mobility system by reclaiming public space and improving the quality of life. To achieve this, it seeks to create an integrated mobility system that meets the daily travel needs of citizens and encourages tourism.
